Location: Arizona Theatre Company at the Temple of Music & Art — 330 S. Scott Ave, downtown Tucson.

Try something NEW! Tour and learn about the history of the Temple of Music & Art Bldg along with its restoration. Go backstage for a behind-the-scenes look at the theatre sets, particularly an Alfred Hitchcock set for that particular day. See the Costume Shop and watch the mock-ups being created for 1920's costumes for the upcoming Great Gatsby play. For more details and RSVP form, click here.

NOTE: The entrance and parking to this building are actually on W. Laguna St, north of Glenn.

This is the second chapter-wide event to support the AZ Oncology and So AZ Cancer Society's need for chemotherapy caps for cancer patients.

Day One is set up for cutting out fabric hats and packaging kits. That will be a 3-hour day.

Day two will be focusing on sewing the caps. Lunch and drinks will be provided.

Location: Madera Clubhouse, Quail Creek Community

Join a fun day of live demonstrations addressing a variety of sewing interests. See creative projects on display, win door prizes, watch a Fashion Show, and enjoy lunch. Five presenters will offer hands-on demonstrations to rotating audience groups.

Each participant will receive a published Demo Day booklet containing all the presenter outlines. A CD with a color version of this same reference will be included.

After lunch, watch an onstage Fashion Show featuring members' ensembles worn by live models. If you want to enter the show or have someone model a garment you made in the show, contact Aimee Groshans to get involved no later than March 10: Ph 544-0355. The Chapter NEEDS participants, so please consider entering the show.
