Serger & Necklace Workshops

Two Serger events and one Bead Necklace class are described below.

Photos from Linda Brush's 2008 Serger Workshop followed by collections from the Oct 2010 Serger Play Day show classes filled to capacity. Members always enjoy the chance to get supervised practice overcoming and mastering the "mysteries" of serger use.

The Sep 2008 Bead Necklace Class was taught by Liz Macijeski. Members learned how to cover large beads with fabric to make beautiful necklaces. Many are still seen today wearing their creations that make a unique fashion statement!

Fabrics, Garments & Fitting

Three workshops offering training on fabrics, fitting and garment construction are described in this gallery. Photos from Connie Shaw's 2007 Fabric Fundamentals class, the Jan 2009 Patternless Wardrobe class, and the Sep/Oct 2009 Silhouette Pattern Fitting seminars are depicted.

All collections show focused attention on garment making and the techniques that go with it by serious sewing enthusiasts.
